There’s no place like St. Luke’s Day School

The Book Fair at St. Luke’s Day School is one of two major annual fundraisers for the school. We are excited for this special event to enhance the magic of the season for our SLDS children and their grownups, too, while endorsing the school with our financial support. Your donation will ensure our school remains a nurturing and enriching place where young children can play and learn together every day!

Our goal this year is to raise $35,000.

Your gift to the Book Fair will enable funding for staff professional development, school-wide literacy initiatives, and children’s scholarships – activities tuition alone cannot provide. As a result, our children benefit from valuable resources and ever-improving opportunities for their social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth. Underwriting donations make up 75% of the total funds raised; our commitment to support the Day School through the Book Fair is as important now as ever.

Please consider donating as outlined below. In appreciation of your donation, your names will be recognized on the Book Fair website and in printed materials.

* For donations over $250, a book will be placed in your honor in the St. Luke’s Library.

2023 Underwriting

Levels

Little Blue Trucks: $1,500+

Provides scholarship assistance to one SLDS student 

Good Tidings Toads: $1,000-$1,499

Supports 3-4 teachers’ professional development and education at
Rice University’s Early Literacy and Culture programs

Holly Jolly Horses: $500-$999

Provides one classroom light table for dramatic play, discovery, and storytelling

Christmastime Cows: $350-$499

Funds prop boxes for dramatic play and storytelling for all age groups

North Pole Pigs: $250-$349

Provides airfare for one teacher to attend a national conference

Garland Geese: $100-$249

Provides up to 20 new books for the St Luke’s Library

Cheerful Chickens: $1-$99

Creates new PreK and TK Book Bags with books, activities, and games
